Public Strategies Adds Government Relations Talent
Austin, TX — Public Strategies, Inc., a strategic consulting firm, announced today that two Bush Administration veterans have joined the firm's growing government relations practice.
James Fuller joined the firm's Washington office as a Managing Director in the Government Relations practice. Fuller brings more than ten years of political and government affairs experience to his new position. Most recently, Fuller served as Chief of Staff at the Transportation Security Administration, a part of the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to joining DHS, Fuller served as Chief of Staff at the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.
A New Mexico native, Fuller was the state director for Bush Cheney 2000 and has led several statewide political campaigns, including Senator Pete Domenici's 2002 re-election effort. Fuller also spent several years on Capitol Hill managing legislative issues for the Senator.
Jill Angelo, also a Bush Administration veteran, is a new director in the Government Relations practice. Angelo will split her time between the firm's Austin and Washington, D.C. offices. A recent graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, Angelo served as aide to former Counselor to the President, Karen Hughes. Angelo also managed press relations on the Bush/Cheney 2000 campaign.

Fuller and Angelo join the firm's bi-partisan government relations practice which includes former Texas Governor Ann Richards, former Houston Congressman Ken Bentsen and seasoned government relations veterans Jane Hickie, Billy Moore, Rusty Kelley, Carol McGarah, John Krueger and Mia Freis.
