Majorities continue to say they trust the government to do what is right.  The percentage of voters saying they trust corporations to do what is right slowly continues to rise.

Nearly half of voters now say they trust corporations to manage their finances responsibly.

Voters feel better about the direction of business than government.

Voters see a greater role for corporations in helping to solve the nation’s problems.

Voters are equally likely to believe the government is trying to do too many things that should be left to businesses as they are to believe the government should be doing more.

Voters prefer divided government over single-party control.

Trust has declined significantly for Democrats, but trust for Republicans has not risen.  Trust for Democrats and Republicans is now at parity.

The economy continues to top the list of concerns.
